{drum roll please...} The 2017 Ice Out Winners Are...

Congratulations to Mike and Joni Jeurissen from Melody Lane! The Jeurissens are our 2017 Ice Out Winners and will receive a free one-year membership to the LFARCC.

Our official "Ice Out" judges determined Lake Francis' last day of ice to be Friday, March 24, at 4 p.m. Mike and Joni were only one hour off - they guessed 3 p.m. on March 24. Paul and Patti Erickson from East Shore came in a close second by guessing 1:40 p.m. on March 24.

Each year, LFARCC members are encouraged to provide their best guess of when "ice out" will occur on Lake Francis. The winner receives a free one-year membership. Entries must be submitted on the official Membership Form and postmarked 72 hours before ice out, which is when the lake is considered 90% ice free.
